    Parking:

    Parking is available in the parking garage located beside the District Court Building. You can enter the parking garage on Barr Street. There is a connecting tunnel between the District Court Building and the Circuit Court Building. Go to the Basement Floor in either building to access the underground tunnel. For visitors with special needs, there is a tunnel between the District Court Building and the Circuit Court Building.

    Fayette County Circuit Court Criminal Division

    The Fayette County Circuit Court Criminal Division handles felony grand jury indictments, as well as information cases. You can access this division at 120 North Limestone Street, located on the first floor, Suite C-103.

    Services Provided:

    • Accepts court costs, probation fees, restitution, and fines.
    • Assists in the processing and refunding of bail bonds.
    • Provides space for attorneys and for the public to research and review public records.
    • Copy machines are available to the public.

    Fayette County Circuit Court Civil Division

    The Fayette County Circuit Court Civil Division is the court of general jurisdiction and handles complaints that involve a request for damages of $5,000 and higher. In addition, the Circuit Civil Division also handles filings for Family Court. You can access this division at 120 North Limestone Street, located on the first floor, Suite C-103.

    The largest division located inside the Fayette County Office of Circuit Court Clerk, the Criminal/Traffic Court Division has bench clerks for both criminal and traffic courts. You can access this division at 150 North Limestone Street, located on the first floor, Suite D-157.

    • Offers 24-hour access to Emergency Custody Orders
    • Offers 24-hour access to Petition the court for Emergency Protective Orders
